The first children's clothing store in Kerala was Tara Baby Shop, opened on MG Road in 1980. It offers clothes for newborns and kids up to 12 years, along with handmade dresses, rompers, baby bed sheets, pillowcases, baptism and christening sets, and maternity wear. The store also featured multi-brand baby utilities, feeding bottles, toys, maternity and feeding gowns, diapers, baby bags, and readymade kids' wear.
